Florida man arrested for unauthorized grilling at home

A Florida man was accused of making grills even though he didn’t have the necessary permits. Grills are a type of dental jewelry worn on the teeth. Grills are usually made of metal and have a removable jewelry structure. Even though the Florida man was an expert in producing grills, he was detained because he was not authorized to do so.

Allen Turner, 26, from Florida, was accused of practicing dentistry without a license. In addition to this charge, producing grills were included. Turner saw his job as a jeweler. He was working accordingly, but he did not know that what he was doing was a crime.

Florida police announced that they found grills in different structures in Turner’s home. Turner used special molds made by himself to create these dental pieces of jewelry. Questioned by the police, Turner said he did not know that grilling was illegal.

Describing himself as a jeweler, Turner said he stopped making grills after a warning from the Florida Department of Health. Florida Department of Health officials came to Turner’s home and told him to stop making grills. In his statement to the police, Turner stated that he complied with this order.

A $1,000 penalty slip was generated by the Florida Department of Health. But the state’s attorney’s office followed suit. Turner was arrested a few weeks later when the state’s attorney’s office decided to press charges. Unfortunately, additional information on the course of the case is not available.
