Bomb-savvy Florida man arrested after threatening to blow up Walt Disney World executives

According to the information obtained from the authorities, a Florida man started sending threatening messages to Walt Disney World executives on Twitter. In the messages he sent, he claimed that he would throw grenades at their homes. Following complaints, the Florida man was arrested on Friday on the threat charge.

Steve Jordan, 31, who lives in the Seminole district of Pinellas County, began a tweet bombardment on Twitter on August 8. He sent 186 tweets in about three hours. Because the tweets he sent contained a criminal element, he was detained by law enforcement in Pinellas district.

Some of the tweets sent over the three-hour period were directed at Walt Disney World. He sent some tweets like that, “We’re going to blow up all the homes of your @Disney executives with C4.” and “I’m going to throw a grenade through your @Disney executives’ windows.” Those tweets were deleted in a short time.

Steve Jordan didn’t just stop there. Because Jordan had also sent several threatening tweets to the Activision game company and its executives, which were in a lot of trouble due to the sexual harassment lawsuits that emerged in the past days.

Jordan’s Twitter account was suspended on August 9. Various officials collaborating with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement were able to identify Steve Jordan as the owner of this threatening account. Threat tweets belonging to Jordan were not limited to the relevant day.

He was accused of threatening by throwing, placing and using an object to cause destruction. Steve Jordan faced the same charges when he was arrested in 2019 for a false bomb threat. Jordan is being held at Pinellas County Prison on $10,000 bail as police deepen the investigation.
