Florida Man Birthday November 10

A Florida man stabbed the puppy 50 times, then put it in the suitcase and tortured it

The event took place in the city of Hollywood, which is a part of Broward County. A Florida man stabbed a pit bull puppy 50 times. He then put the animal he had stabbed in the suitcase and tortured it. The police, who tracked down the incident, caught the suspect and sent him to jail.

Brendan Evans, 35, stabbed a pit bull puppy 50 times. Although the animal was alive, he put it in the suitcase and tortured it. Defense attorney Michael Gottlieb announced that two of the charges against Evans were admitted. Evans faced 17 different animal cruelty offenses.

Evans said he was out for a walk one night and found the puppy in a blue suitcase near a house. He stated that he realized the animal was trying to hold on to life at this time and was trying to help. The seriously injured dog was rushed to the animal clinic. However, it was unable to survive as its injuries were so serious.

When the press learned of the incident, hundreds of animal-loving people applied to adopt the pit bull puppy Ollie. Unfortunately, these demands could not be fulfilled as the dog succumbed to his wounds. A campaign was then launched and $60,000 was raised to find the murderer.

Hollywood police conducted a DNA analysis of the blue suitcase containing the dog. Evans was charged when traces of Evans’ DNA were found on the bag. Police have issued a search warrant to search Evans’ home. When detectives went to Evans’ home, they found various cat paws, decapitated mice, and bloodstains in the bathroom.

The detectives then decided to devote more time to house investigations. Detectives found an 18-inch machete in the house. As a result of their examination in the kitchen, they discovered dried blood and animal fur in the oven. They also found a handwritten note with “entire pit bull investigation” written on it.

The detectives’ hard work paid off, and Evans was arrested. Evans has been imprisoned since this incident in 2017. Defense lawyer Gottlieb stated that four years have passed and his client wanted the case closed. In addition, Gottlieb said Evans needed mental health support in addition to the drugs he used while in prison.

Gottlieb stated that Evans grew up in a good family and will go out one day. For this reason, he said that he should be helped or he would have great difficulty in adapting to life outside. It was learned that Evans also had a separate case regarding a robbery in Hernando County.

If Evans is found guilty on all 17 animal cruelty charges, he faces up to 85 years in prison. Ollie’s life and struggles were announced all over the world by a Facebook group called “Justice for Ollie”. Thousands of people who heard about the incident sent support messages.

Animal activist Mindy Moffatt said Ollie had to endure a lot of pain. Moffat also said that if some animals are still alive, they owe it to Ollie. In addition to this, Moffat shared his thoughts on Evans’ case. She stated that Evans should remain in prison for life and does not need freedom.
