A Florida man who made grilled hamburgers then robbed Wendys.
JENSEN BEACH, FLORIDA (AP) – Authorities said they were looking for “hamburgers” that stole money from two restaurants in Florida.
According to a statement from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect entered Wendys by smashing the window with a brick. The suspect fled by taking the cash box from the store after making him a hamburger on the grill. Later, the suspect went to another restaurant in Jensen Beach and escaped with food and money.
The same suspect said he also tried to rob a gas station, but without success, officials said.
The sheriff’s office asked the public for help in catching a white male in his thirties with a tattoo on his left arm, with photos posted on Facebook.
