A man who had a search warrant and needed arrest wanted to finish his work before he surrendered.
In a statement from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, a 40-year-old man named Jesse Pack left a note on his bed for officers to see. The notto left by Pack said, “I know I’m wanted. I have a job and I will surrender to Volusia
Branch Prison after I finish my job.”
Police said Jesse Pack was wanted for kidnapping and a fatal attack.
A woman opened the door to the police officers who went home to catch Pack and told him that Pack was not at home. As a result of a search in the house, the man was found in a wooden dresser while hiding from the police.
“This man thinks he can hide from the officers,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly, but our officers are quite experienced. We are coming! Our team did a great job and caught Jesse Pack. Pack is now accused of his behavior in Flagler County and Volusia County.”
Jesse Pack was arrested for gunfire and assault in Volusia County and for resisting arrest and possession of drug supplies in Flagler County.
