A Florida man said demons took control of his body after he abused his Xbox-playing girlfriend.
Pasco County Sheriff’s Office officials arrested 26-year-old Matthew Joseph Douglas at his home in Hudson.
According to WFLA-TV’s report, Douglas told authorities that the devil had taken over his body and he passed out while attacking his girlfriend, with no recollection of the incident.
According to the information in the report, Douglas’ girlfriend was 18 weeks pregnant. Douglas advised his girlfriend to sleep, but his girlfriend preferred to play Xbox. The victim said Douglas choked her so hard she couldn’t breathe.
According to the news from FOX13 Tampa, the police found bruises and scratches on the neck of the victim.
Douglas is held at the Land O’Lakes Detention Facility and is charged with domestic violence against a pregnant woman. Douglas previously had a warrant for his arrest for assaulting someone aged 65 and over.
