Florida Man Birthday June 9
A topless Florida man has been charged with multiple crimes, including attempting to kiss an elderly woman.
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Florida man first exposed himself at a flea market and then stripped off his clothes, stole a car and continued his miscellaneous crimes, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. The man was caught by the authorities.
Sheriff’s deputies received the first call about a 23-year-old man named Lahorace Pickett Jr. at around 11:15 pm on Wednesday. The call came from a restaurant located in the T&W Flea Market area in Pensacola. Pickett Jr. kicked and punched the coin machine. Pickett Jr., exposing himself, shouted to those around him, “Call the police, the dead are rising.”
Pickett Jr. then jumped on the shoulder of a customer at the restaurant and grabbed an employee at the counter and attacked him with his fists.
The man who was fired from the restaurant stripped off his clothes and stole a Chevrolet Sonic, according to the sheriff’s deputies. Also, Pickett Jr. left a backpack with a gun in it.
Pickett Jr. approached an elderly woman who lived a few blocks from the scene, grabbed her by the hair and tried to kiss her, grabbed a stone and threatened her. According to the report, he threatened to kill the woman.
Pickett Jr. wanted to get into the trailer, which is located on a private property. During a fight with the man in the trailer, he hit the man with a brick and injured him.
When authorities arrived on the scene, Pickett Jr. tried to escape but was found in a bed. A bag found in the trailer contained a throwing star, gun supplies, and a pack of synthetic marijuana.
A third report came in while Pickett Jr. was in custody. According to local witnesses, Pickett Jr. dismantled the mailbox, broke into a house and broke the television inside. During what he was doing, he shouted “I know you’re there, get out”.
Pickett Jr. was arrested for 19 offenses including causing property damage, theft, driving with a suspended license, aggravated assault, assault, battering a person aged 65 and over, using a gun during the crime, possession of a gun by a previously convicted criminal, theft accompanied by assault, resisting the authorities without violence, carrying synthetic drugs, possessing drugs, committing crimes with a gun, disturbing the peace and theft of vehicles.
