According to federal records, a man caught in a drug operation could face a life sentence if found guilty.
LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Florida man could face federal drug conspiracy charges, according to the US Attorney’s Office. If the man is found guilty, he could face a life sentence.
Devonne L. Walker, 35, who lives in Lady Lake, was arrested by the Lake County Sheriff’s office on June 25.
According to investigators’ statement, Walker conspired with Tymane Hamilton, 29, and Kanisha Savage, 28, from Arizona, to distribute drugs in Central Florida.
Between March 2018 and October 2019, Hamilton and Savage sent Walker 50 grams of marijuana, 5 kg of cocaine, 1 kg of heroin, 0.5 kg of methamphetamine and 40 grams of fentanyl with the US Postal Service.
During the investigation, more than 54 kg of cannabis, 27 kg of methamphetamine, 125 grams of heroin and 79 grams of fentanyl were seized.
A stolen gun and bags of drugs were seized following Walker’s arrest. Hamilton and Savage were arrested on June 28.
