A Florida man made a bomb threat at Florida Airport.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA – A 74-year-old Florida man argued with an attendant while checking his plane ticket. The man was arrested for making bomb threats on Saturday.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office announced that the man named Wegal Rosen left his luggage and walked away after arguing with an officer at the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport.
Airport attendants told Rosen to get his luggage. Rosen said he had a bomb in his trunk. According to WSVN’s statement, Rosen left his luggage there and headed towards Terminal 3.
Due to Rosen’s bomb threat, two terminals were evacuated and entry to the airport was prohibited.
Rosen was charged with planting bombs, explosives or weapons of mass destruction and was arrested.
