A gun was fired at a man who was throwing a banana at the truck during the accident.
PINELLAS PARK, FLORIDA (WFLA) – A man is accused of shooting at a man who was throwing a banana at his truck during a car accident, according to police.
According to the disclosures, Robert Lewis and Peter Sala Jr. started arguing as they drove down U.S. Highway 19. After the argument, Sala Jr. threw the banana into Lewis’s car. Lewis, on the other hand, opened fire on Sala Jr.’s car with the gun he had with him. The right windshield of the car was shattered.
According to WFLA, one of the shards of broken glass injured Sala Jr.’s leg. The wound was said to be not life-threatening.
Charged with throwing a deadly object, Lewis is being held at Pinellas County Jail on $12,000 bail.
