PORT RICHEY, Fla. (WSVN) – A man with a state tattoo called 911 to return home. The man who was accused of using the 911 line unnecessarily was arrested by the deputies of the sheriff.
According to the report received by Fox 13, 22-year-old Matthew Leatham was arrested by Pasco County sheriff’s office officials on Sunday.
The sheriff officials said Leatham wanted to call 911 to go home and cursed at the operator. One of the deputies met with Leatham and asked to call a taxi. Leatham did not accept this offer because he did not have money and said he would walk home.
Leatham called 911 again and said he wanted to go home. Leatham was arrested by the sheriff’s deputies while talking on the phone with the officer. Marijuana was also found on Leatham during the search.
Leatham was accused of unnecessary use of the 911 line and possession of marijuana, although he said he did not know what was happening.
