Florida Man Birthday February 29
A Florida man set fire to the bed in the hospital while trying to get the attention of the nurses
at the hospital.
75-year-old John David King said he wanted to burn the plastic bag at Smyrna Beach
Hospital and burned it with a lighter. King stated that he did not want to harm anyone, but
because he thought the nurses did not care about him. King was hospitalized due to
respiratory failure.
The man named Samuel Moreno told King to put out the fire, but King did not put out the fire
and the flames grew bigger. With Moreno pressed the fire button, the officers intervened with
a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire.
A bed in the hospital became unusable due to the fire, resulting in a total loss of around
$4,000.
According to the information shared by the Miami Herald, King was arrested. The King, who
