A Florida man attacked a friend who invited him to breakfast.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA – According to aides of the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, the 69-year-old victim was attacked for waking her friend up for breakfast.

Clay Walters, 62, attacked his friend on Thursday who wanted to wake him up for breakfast, according to sheriff’s deputies. Walters was enraged at being awakened and grabbed his friend, knocking him to the ground.

According to the records, he returned to his room after Walters attacked.

Officials who arrived at the scene found bruises and cuts on the victim’s body. He also saw two drops of blood on the kitchen floor.

Walters was calm when the deputies arrived. Expressing his regret for the fight, Walters did not accept that he attacked. Walters stated that his friend dropped his hat.

According to another information in the report, the third person in the room heard the noises but did not see the fight.

Walters was arrested for assaulting a person over the age of 65.
