Florida Man Birthday August 8

An anti-abortion Florida man is arrested for carrying a sign outside his elementary school showing aborted fetuses

A Florida man, a provocative protester, took his opposition to abortion to another level. A man carrying a sign with pictures of aborted fetuses was arrested by the police for causing disturbance outside an elementary school.

According to the news reported by NBC2 News, the instigator protester was kept secret by the Punta Gorda Police Department. However, the information given by the police included the information that the man had been involved in very provocative similar incidents in the past.

Police said the Florida man was wearing an anti-abortion t-shirt and carrying a sign showing aborted fetuses and he also was standing next to the school’s parking lot entrance.

Passers-by, some of them women, tried to argue with the man. In a statement made to NBC2 by the authorities, it was stated that other people watched and recorded these discussions and that traffic was blocked after families took action to pick their children from school.

According to the Police Department, when a policeman tried to get the man out of the building, the man responded with swearing and suddenly started shouting. The police, who intervened in the incident, worried that the protester might hit him with the sign.

According to the statement made by the authorities, similar incidents have happened before. The same protester had tried to stage a protest at the Sallie Jones Elementary School in Punta Gorda during pickup and dropoff hours. The police were then called to the scene.

The principal of the school stated that he could not understand the incident. Stating that they are an abstinence region, they do not teach or support abortion, the principal stated that he has no idea why abortion is being protested at school.

Police Chief Pamela Davis said the man did not carry out a protest action under peaceful conditions. According to Davis, the protester harassed the children and their families at the school and damaged the school’s operation. So it created a potentially violent situation.

Police Chief Pamela Davis told the Police Department, “This is clearly a crime. No one has the right to harass the citizens of Punta Gorda, their children and their families. We will definitely not allow that.” she said. The protester was arrested for disturbing the peace and damaging the function of an educational institution.
