Florida Man Birthday May 13
A Florida man has been arrested by Capitol police.
WASHINGTON DC – US Capitol Police arrested a man carrying a sword and dagger near Senate buildings.
Sherman Michael Newman, 40, said he was seen with a sword and dagger near the Capitol building, according to a Capitol police statement.
According to the information contained in the arrest report, “The suspect was seen and searched on the 100th block of Maryland Avenue. The suspect, who had six knives on him, was detained and taken to the police station.”
Newman, who lives in Bradenton, is accused of carrying dangerous weapons.
