A man from Florida was accused of beating the golfer and stealing

OCALA, FLORIDA (AP) – A Florida man first tried to steal the balls from the golf course and
then beat an old man playing golf. The man, who was arrested for assault and theft, was
sent to prison.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office stated that a young man named Tyler Daerden from a
golf club in Ocala tried to steal a golf ball.

Seeing Daerden take the balls, the golfer warned him and went to complain. According to
the claim, Daerden wanted to apologize to the old golfer but later battered the golfer.
Daerden told the police about the incident and said that the old golfer had threatened him.

The old golfer has cuts on his body, bruises and a fracture in his rib.

Daerden, who was charged with violence against a person aged 65 or over, was sent to
prison on Sunday with a bail price of $10,000.
