A Florida man chased through two counties by law enforcement, badly damaged the deputies’ vehicles.

MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA (WFLA) – Sheriff’s deputies from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man who tried very hard to avoid capture on Monday. Before the arrest took place, the suspect dragged the deputy sheriffs along two counties and badly damaged the deputy sheriff’s vehicles.

An aerial video captured by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office featured the moments when Christian Ottinot was being chased. Ottinot, fleeing from law enforcement in his car, which was seen as a literal “bad art experiment”, did not hesitate to drive his car over official vehicles belonging to deputy sheriffs.

Ottinot was the protagonist of a high-speed chase by deputy sheriffs in two different counties. The reason for the chase was that he attacked a law enforcement officer and was a serial theft suspect. Once the chase began, Ottinot had no qualms about wreaking havoc.

In the recorded video, Ottinot is clearly seen crashing into a patrol vehicle before being caught by the sheriff’s deputies following him. Ottinot tries to evade law enforcement despite the vehicle crash, but chooses to surrender when surrounded by other deputies.

Ottinot faces multiple charges, including serial theft, evading police and battering a law enforcement officer. He will be referred to the court after the legal procedures to be applied to him. However, no bail has been set for him yet and it is unclear whether that will happen.
