A Florida man who used meth fell into a fit of jealousy and attacked in anger
FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA (AP) – A man who was hallucinating after taking meth thought someone was in bed and attacked the bed.
Felipe Oquendo, 37, said his girlfriend’s behavior had changed, according to the Okaloose County Sheriff’s Office. His girlfriend told authorities she thought she was cheating on him in Fort Walton Beach.
Oquendo began to attack the bed with the bedpost and locked the door of the room. The woman managed to escape from the man and called the police.
According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, Oquendo admitted to using meth. There is no attorney information available for Oquendo.
