Florida Man Birthday May 5
A Florida man hoped he could escape the sheriff’s deputies with the blonde wig.
A Florida man wanted for drugs was wearing a wig when he was caught cycling last week, and they said he was trying to identify himself as the “Master of Deception,” police said.
Brevard County Sheriff’s Office officials were walking around Robert “Bobby” Walls’ home when they spotted a man with long blonde hair but resembling Walls in all other features.
The authorities realized that it was Walls who had walked away, and they caught and detained him. Authorities said Walls was wanted and used the blonde wig to evade officers.
A statement from the sheriff’s office said Walls’ arrest was an important part of a major drug investigation. It was also announced that there were arrest warrants for more than 100 people in the investigation.
Walls faces multiple crimes, including conspiracy to obtain drugs, making demands to sell drugs, and illegal use of a two-way device.
The sheriff’s office said, “Don’t sell drugs if you don’t want to go to jail. Don’t run from the police officers or even use a scary yellow wig to escape from the police officers. Man, have some dignity!”
