Florida Man Birthday July 28
A Florida man said he was “Batman.”
ENGLEWOOD, FLORIDA – A Florida man has been charged with walking around naked in a hotel and mistaking himself for Batman.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, a 49-year-old man named Christopher L. Jackson was arrested on Friday for walking around naked and exposing his genitals.
In a call from Englewood Suncoast Inn to Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, the motel manager said a naked man was trying to enter the room, WINK-TV reported.
Authorities found Jackson at a table outside the motel. According to WINK-TV, Jackson had a room at the motel but left it locked. However, the manager denied this and said that Jackson did not have a room.
According to the arrest report, Jackson was asked for his name and surname, but was answered, “I am Batman.”
Authorities checked the motel’s security camera, Miami Herald reported. Footage from the footage showed Jackson climbing the railings around the motel. Entering the building, Jackson climbed to the third floor, stripped off his clothes, and began to wander through the motel rooms one by one.
Jackson had previously committed theft in Sarasota County. He is now held at Charlotte County Penitentiary on $1,000 bail.
